Notarizers’ team of fully licensed legal notary experts provide notarization services for all individuals and businesses, small and large. We offer notary public services for the following to prevent you from fraud and legal troubles.
Glossary of the Summary of our Services
Certified True Copy
Our notaries public will certify photocopies of your original documents, such as passport, birth certificate, marriage certificate, diploma, etc. You can use these legally authenticated copies in situations like employment and government applications where you cannot risk losing the original documents. The notarized certified true copy will be treated as an authentic reproduction of the original.
Commissioner of Oaths
Our fully licensed notaries public have been empowered under provincial legislation and can administer and witness the swearing of oaths or solemn affirmations required by the declarant for affidavits and other legal matters. We also administer the oath for taking an oral testimony.
Consent to Travel
You can have a document mentioning your (“your” meaning parent(s) or legal guardian(s) of children) consent to allow your child, who is less than 18 years of age, to travel across international borders. Keep in mind that a travel consent letter that an authorized notary public has not notarized may be dismissed by border officials, and your child may be denied the permission to travel. You will definitely miss the flight if that happens. Hence it is safer to have your consent to travel letter duly notarized prior to leaving for the airport.
Fingerprinting
Our FBI and RCMP accredited legal experts offer quick and affordable fingerprinting services to our clients to be used in legal matters like adoption, citizenship, immigration, visa applications, or other civil purposes. We provide both electronic and ink & roll fingerprinting services in our Walk-in locations.
Fingerprints taken outside Canada
Need RCMP fingerprints outside Canada? We digitize your fingerprints taken by your local police in a foreign country and submit them to RCMP electronically in order to obtain a fingerprint-based RCMP Certificate. You may use those fingerprints for legal processes such as name change applications, immigration, privacy act requests, pardon applications, etc.
Letter of Invitation
If you plan to invite someone to visit you in Canada, we can notarize a letter of invitation that the person being invited must present to the Canadian consulate or embassy in their country to apply for a Temporary Resident Visa (Visitor Visa). However, please keep in mind that a letter of invitation does not guarantee that the visa will be issued since granting a visa involves other requirements to be met.
Marriage Abroad
Congratulations on your marriage planned abroad! We help put together the documents required to attain the foreign marriage certificate. We help you in the process of obtaining a Statutory Declaration of your marital status and Statement in Lieu of Certificate of Non-Impediment to Marriage or Affidavit in Lieu of Certificate of Non-Impediment to Marriage.
Mobile Notary
Conveniently have your documents notarized by having our agents reach the place of your choosing, whether it’s your workplace or home. Suppose you are busy and unable to travel to our offices because of a large group of people required for the signing of the documents. In that case, we can arrange for a licensed notary public to meet with you at the most convenient location for you.
Notarizations
We verify your documents for authenticity by having one of our qualified notary public professionals witness the signing so you can use them for legal purposes with peace of mind and without hassle. Our legal professionals also possess the authority to administer oaths, declarations and solemn affirmations.
Power of Attorney
We help you appoint a person to act on your behalf by notarizing a power of attorney if you need help in managing private, business, or legal matters or feel that you will be unable to do so in the future. You may also have a special power of attorney notarized by us by appointing someone to act on your behalf for a limited time.
Wills
Our lawyers are available to assist you with the preparation and notarization of your Will. Will is a very important and crucial document as it helps you to put your decisions in writing about how you want your estate to be distributed upon your death. If you fail to have a valid Will while you are still alive, the court will make that decision for you after your death, and that might be contrary to your actual intentions.
